Dr. Stacey Garrett

Stacey D. Garrett, Ph.D., originally from Virginia, recently received a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership- Higher Education from Clemson University.  The theme of her research agenda is the diversification of higher education, exploring the experiences of Students, Faculty, and Staff of Color at predominantly White institutions. Her work has been published in the conference proceedings for the American Society for Engineering Education and the Journal for Critical Scholarship on Higher Education and Student Affairs, and has been presented at the annual meetings of various national/international education and student affairs conferences.

She holds a Master of Education in Counseling Psychology with a concentration in College Student Personnel Administration from James Madison University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the College of William and Mary.  Before joining the faculty at ASU, she worked in entry- and mid-level positions in residence life and fraternity/sorority life at Longwood University and Clemson University.
