• Consider the use of open book exams

• Utilize Zoom Polls for quick formative assessment

• Use low-stakes quizzes for formative assessment

• Make quizzes more fun using a tool like Kahoot

• Consider alternative assessments (e.g. projects) rather than summative exams

I assign student presentations

• Encourage students to use tools such as VoiceThread or Padlet to content

• Provide students with options on ways to submit

• Don’t schedule student presentations during a Zoom session - instead, allow them to give asynchronous feedback to others

I ask students to submit written assignments

• Utilize the Rubric function in AsULearn for ease of grading

• Consider using Turnitin for feedback

• Ask students to submit assignments as Google Docs for ease of giving feedback
