I give lectures

• Utilize Panopto  or Zoom to pre-record the lecture and make it available in AsULearn

• Utilize Zoom for f2f lecture

• Incorporate flipped learning processes.

• Keep recorded lectures short - ten minutes is a good length

• When lecturing live, keep it as brief as possible - an hour at most

• Record meetings to make content accessible to students who cannot attend

I assign readings

• Upload shorter readings to AsULearn

• AppState has Panopto available for this purpose.

• You can also utilize free tools like Screencast-O-Matic

I share videos

• Provide link to video content in AsULearn

• To spark discussion in synchronous sessions, run the video and share your screen in Zoom

• AppState has a site license for VoiceThread for posting online videos and hosting discussions.

• For films, contact the library and see if they can secure rights to show it in your AsULearn course.

• If showing full-length movies, investigate Netflix Parties so the class can watch together

I make sure course content is accessible to all students

• Use accessibility features available in AsULearn

• Utilize AppState resources for creating accessible content

• Upload videos to YouTube to take advantage of closed captioning functions, then post the YT link for students
