Elizabeth (she/her/hers) is a native of Western North Carolina and deeply adores this beautiful state. Her professional career began while putting herself through culinary school for baking and pastry arts. Then, turning an academic corner, she received her undergraduate degree in recreation and parks management, followed by a Master of Arts in higher education, both from App State. Elizabeth truly is "Happy Appy" through and through. Go 'Neers!

Elizabeth appreciates building relationships and empowering creativity and individuality. She believes we are to be good stewards of our life, community, and work while valuing a work/life balance. Lastly, she strongly promotes lifelong learning and growth. When not working, you can find her, her husband, and their daughter camping in the pop-up and roasting marshmallows over the campfire!
